About Me
The town of Okmulgee, Oklahoma is where I was born and raised in the early 70’s and 80’s. After
graduation I attended the University of Oklahoma studying business and was a member of the Alpha Tau
Omega fraternity.
Shortly after leaving the University, I found it my calling to join the United States Coast Guard spending a
little time in Eureka, California and moving on to Portland, Oregon. I was assigned to the USCGC
Acushnet as the Search and Resue Coordinator traveling north along the western coast of Oregon and
Washington, past Canada and across the southern border of Alaska to the Aleutian Islands in the Bering
Strait.
After serving my enlistment I purchased a 32-foot sailboat and left with my trusty lab Joe Brown,
from Key West, Fla. and sailed to Guatemala. In Guatemala I learned to speak and read Spanish fluently
and returned to Oklahoma after twelve years.
Upon my return, I took the necessary classes to be a real estate agent and have enjoyed helping people
to find the home that suits their needs.
