About Me
I grew up in a small Oklahoma farm town and was raised on love and country values. My dad was a mailman and my mom owned a beauty shop.
I spent a lot of time on family farms including my grandparents just outside of town. Most kids played sports growing up and by the time I reached high school, I was focused on football, wrestling, and karate. After high school, I attended Oklahoma State University, where I received my Master of Science Degree while working full-time as a Strength Coach for the Oklahoma State Athletic Department. In this position, I worked with numerous All-Americans, Olympic Medalists, and National Champions.
I moved into the Nashville area 30 years ago. At the time I was the Strength Coach for Illinois State University, a buddy of mine from school asked me to go to work with him in the music industry, his pitch to me was the travel opportunity. After some deliberation, I decided to see the world as the Road Manager for Garth Brooks. This high-paced job helped me develop organizational multi-tasking, work ethic, and valuable social skills. It was a great decision and an inspirational ride for sure. When Garth retired in 1998, my years as a parent were just beginning.
I went into the Personal Training profession for 3 reasons: it allowed me to run my own business, I could set my own schedule and it fit my passion for coaching fitness and athletic performance. Through the years I coached Youth Football, Youth Basketball, and Volleyball, in addition, my kids played travel team sports, so most evenings and weekends were spent in gyms around Nashville and the Southeast United States.
Helping clients and friends prepare, list, and negotiate the sale of their homes brings me a sense of purpose and satisfaction. I feel like every sale brings me a new friend.
