About Me
Mike Morrell was born in Garnet Valley in Delaware County where his roots run deep. Mike is 1 of 5 kids and falls in line at number 4, with one younger brother and 3 older sisters. Mike’s passion for Real Estate stems from watching his father build his childhood home and constantly using his hands. That experience led him to his first job in construction at 16 years old. A few years later, he started working at the Public Works Department of his hometown, Garnet Valley, helping to maintain local municipality by working on roads, infrastructure and gaining knowledge of his local government. Within four years he was promoted to Assistant Supervisor along with holding the Secretary for the Safety Committee position. All the while, he found time to begin studying to become a Building Codes Inspector. Within seven months Mike accomplished his goal and is now a Certified Residential Building Inspector. Mike was able to utilize his critical thinking skillset in core areas of leadership to reach, achieve and surpass any goal put in front of him in a creative and effective manner. While his accomplishments were admirable, he was left stilling wanting more. Between his desire for more and with a little nudge, or let’s be honest, some seriously persistent badgering from friends; Mike was willing to jump feet first into checking another item of his bucket list, becoming a Real Estate Agent. The knowledge and skills he developed over the years has given him the ability and confidence to lead clients to making the best decision possible in what may be the largest purchase of one’s life.
