About Me
Mel, originally from New York City, has lived in the Washington DC and Northern Virginia areas for over twenty years. She came to the real estate business following a career in the restaurant industry, operations management and publicity. She honed skills of careful and friendly client communications working with luxury hotels and opening restaurants across the country.
With a firm commitment to the best transactions being a win-win meeting of the minds, her knowledge of the local real estate market and this passion for customer service is the heart of her business. She brings an integrated approach to real estate and life style and has received critical acclaim for her keen eye and attention to detail.
Mel stays connected to her community by serving on host committees and volunteering for events to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Martha’s Table, and DC Central Kitchen, among many others. Mel is a member of the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors and has served on the board of directors of the Washington, DC Chapter of Les Dames D’Escoffier. When not working she’s probably out dining at one of her friend’s restaurants.
