About Me
Kelsie Simmon, Team Leader of the Welcome Home Team at RE/MAX Real Estate Professionals, brings a deep-rooted love for Michigan and a passion for real estate to her clients. Born and raised in Grand Ledge and a graduate of Grand Ledge High School in 2009, she now resides in Dewitt with her husband, two kids under two, and two fur babies. As a proud military family, her husband serves in the Army National Guard as a Blackhawk helicopter pilot.
Kelsie's journey into real estate began in 2018, drawing from a diverse background in customer service. From tending bar in Grand Rapids to managing a distillery in Lansing, and even working as a bank teller at a local credit union, she honed her skills in serving people. This experience laid the foundation for her transition into the real estate industry. She quickly discovered her true calling: helping individuals and families achieve their dream of homeownership.
Kelsie's enthusiasm for real estate was contagious, and she inspired her sister, Katrina Hoyt, and long-time family friend, Nicole Brown, to join her. Together, they officially established the Welcome Home Team in March 2021. The team's unique approach to real estate sets them apart. They lead clients through every transaction with compassion and empathy, making the home buying or selling process as smooth as possible.
Since 2021, the Welcome Home Team has assisted over 100 individuals and families in achieving their real estate goals, earning recognition with multiple RE/MAX national awards.
