Katy Smith is a Columbus expert, having lived nearly her entire life in the city’s urban neighborhoods. She’s a tree-loving advocate for walkable, integrated design, a gardener who loves native plants and pollinators, and a foodie and chef who frequents farmers markets. As an investor, she finds fulfillment restoring historic properties and providing tenants with beautiful places to live. Before becoming an entrepreneur, Katy spent two decades as a Columbus journalist, serving as a writer, editor and newsroom leader at The Columbus Dispatch, Columbus CEO and Columbus Business First. You’ll still see her byline from time to time.
