About Me
Hello all, my name is Christine McDonald and I am a Licensed Realtor for the Brandi Smith Team at RE/MAX Big Country.
A little bit about myself... I'm a native Texan. I grew up in a small, military and border town, Del Rio, TX. My family ran a retail business selling western clothing and later, tuxedos and this began my start in sales. I learned the importance of customer service at a very young age. I was taught to ask the right questions, get to know your customers and their needs, be respectful and ultimately build trust.
In my youth I attended and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology from the University of Texas in Austin. l relocated to Abilene from Austin in 1998 due to a Pharmaceutical Sales position with Abbott Laboratories. Over the past 25 years (currently 2023), I changed careers twice and went through a divorce. My own life experiences shaped me to be empathetic to people's situations and needs. I can relate to the questions we ask ourselves like "what's next" or the "what if's" when life happens.
Buying and/or selling a home can definitely bring up questions and sometimes elicit fear, especially if you don't know where or how to start. I understand whole heartedly that this will be the largest investment you may be a part of, I do not take this lightly. I believe this is where my life purpose comes into play. My passion for service and learning come together daily when I assist Buyers, Sellers and Investors. I enjoy getting to know people, hearing their stories and discovering what they are wanting to do next. I enjoy studying our market, networking and finding the best properties and negotiating on behalf of my clients. I truly have the best job in the world!
