About Me
I have been a licensed Realtor in Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia since 2004. My focus in real estate is residential sales with buyers and sellers. Prior to becoming a realtor, I was a Public Relations Executive with several government agencies and government-affiliated organizations. I grew up in Devon, PA and Wellesley, MA. Aside from three years in which I lived in Chicago, Ill. and Teaneck, NJ, the Washington, DC area has been my home since 1989. I have lived in DC, MD and VA and have sold homes in numerous communities within each jurisdiction.
I'm a mom to two beautiful boys who are quickly becoming men. I'm a cancer widow - I lost my amazing husband of 15 years in 2014 after his valiant 18-month fight with Glioblastoma Brain Cancer. I'm the wife of a truly great man who has dedicated his life to public service. I'm a stepmom to a wonderful young woman whom I truly adore. I'm a committed community volunteer. I'm a Christian and these values and my faith are and have always been a guiding and sustaining force in my life. I was raised by a brilliant single mom who worked hard to ensure I had the best that life had to offer.
Although I've suffered tragedy, I'm so thankful for my life. I love walking into my home - its beauty and my family rejuvenate me. As a realtor, it is my goal to ensure my clients have that same feeling when they walk into the door of their new home.
My success in real estate is due directly to my commitment to my clients and my strong listening, negotiation and interpersonal communication skills. My primary focus is first-time home buyers and sellers who require additional time, nurturing and education about the real estate process; however, it is very rewarding helping them realize their dream of homeownership.
