About Me
With a professional background in the legal field, Theresa Nelson knows the importance of paying attention to the details and providing forthright service. As having resided in Northern Nevada for twenty years and being a homeowner herself, she can also appreciate the time and effort that one goes through to find the perfect place to call “home”. “My passion to help my clients succeed is fueled by my own gratitude of what it’s like to own a home. I have felt all of the emotions that one will go through when they make one of the biggest decisions of their life.” Organized and open to any challenge, Theresa handles every situation with professionalism and knows when to bring her problem solving skills to the table. She admits she takes her obligation to her clients “very seriously” and always goes the extra mile for her clients. She is ready to encounter any experience to help others achieve their dreams and share what Reno/Tahoe has to offer.
After graduating with a Bachelor of General Studies from the University of Nevada-Reno and a Paralegal Degree from Truckee Meadows Community College, Theresa worked as a Legal Assistant/Paralegal for several Nevada based law firms and national corporations specializing in general/commercial litigation. Theresa has been a licensed Realtor since 2016 and is well versed in luxury, investment properties, working with veterans, golf communities first time home buyers, families and relocation. When Theresa isn’t working, she is enjoying time with her husband and two kids. They like to ski in Lake Tahoe, hike the Sierra’s and enjoy downtime as a family.
