About Me
Stella was born in Bogota, Colombia, and worked in the hospitality industry
as the assistant to the general manager of a six 5-star hotel chain in Bogota
and Cali, Colombia.
Stella immigrated from Colombia in 2000 and started what became a
seventeen-year career as a member of the management team for The
Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America (“NACA”), a non-profit
community advocacy and homeownership organization; making the dream of
homeownership for working people possible thru counseling and better terms
than those provided in the prime market.
Stella has spent time helping people through the home buying and selling
process. She works closely with her her husband of 20 years in his
successful real estate practice and is now a part of his team. Stella is a true
people person who gets things done. She has abundant energy and loves a
challenge. Although appearing to be new to real estate she has assisted her
husband over the years and knows how to get people into the home of their
dreams.
Stella works in Finance and Administration for a boutique consulting firm in
downtown Boston.
She served as member of the Finance Committee & Board of Directors for Compass Working Capital, a
non-profit organization that provides savings and financial coaching
programs that support families with low incomes to build assets, achieve
their financial goals and become financially secure.
Stella is also a member of the Team Pie It
Forward for Community Servings since 2012, raising more than $27,000. She
and her husband Juan Murray live in Boston. Their daughter, Maria and her
husband Alec live in Wilmington, NC with their two dogs Luca & Mila.
Stella loves volunteering, travel and photography.
