About Me
As a 3rd generation Realtor Spencer has been around the real estate industry all his life. His gramps, Mike Flannery Sr. was a builder, developer and a real estate agent. Spencer's Dad, Mike Flannery Jr. has been in sales for most his life and started helping people buy, sell and invest in real estate in 1978. Growing up around the industry, Spencer has always had an interest in becoming a part of it and that interest evolved into a passion for helping his clients buy and sell homes with customer service that will exceed your expectations.
Spencer obtained his real estate license in 2007 at the age of 19 when he returned from Australia where he played premiere level rugby until an unfortunate injury brought him back home to Bellingham. Although he was licensed in 2007, Spencer kept his license "on ice" and worked a few different jobs before beginning his career as a Realtor. A quick overview of Spencer's resume is across the board. He worked in the woods setting choker's, concrete company, siding company, traffic department at the City of Bellingham then worked as a scaffold erector at BP Refinery for about 5 years before hanging his license at RE/MAX Whatcom County in 2016. Spencer received the 2016 RE/MAX Whatcom County Rookie of the Year award and received his Managing Broker license in 2018.
When Spencer has a little free time, you can find him in the mountains skiing with family and friends, biking on Galbraith Mountain or spending time with his Nephew.
