Ruth Ann Abrahamson joins RE/MAX Island Realty with over 25 years in outside sales providing exceptional excellence in client service. She and her husband Bruce were first introduced to Hilton Head on their honeymoon 33 years ago. Falling in love with the Island, they began to return far more frequently, first purchasing a timeshare, then a building lot in Long Cove Club, and in 2015 a Hamilton Villa in Shipyard Plantation…all with the intention that one day they would live here full-time! What’s not to love about Hilton Head Island’s moderate climate, pristine beaches, abundance of cultural, social and entertainment activities and low-country lifestyle.
Ruth Ann specializes in single family residential and condo/villa properties, as well as building lots and new construction. Her goal for each and every client…whether Buyer or Seller…is to provide superior service making any transaction their BEST real estate experience ever!
Ruth Ann is a member of the Hilton Head Area Association of Realtors (HHAAOR) and the National Association of Realtors (NAR). Also licensed in New York state, she is a member of the Great Capital Association of Realtors (GCAR), and the Greater Capital Region of NY Chapter of Women@Work.
An advocate for pet rescue and shelter animals, Ruth Ann is a Cat Colony Manager and colony team organizer in Shipyard Plantation. Her volunteer activities have also included RBC Heritage Golf Tournament on behalf of Hilton Head Firefighters Association.
In addition to her passion for real estate, she enjoys walking, biking, boating, golfing and most any activity outdoors. She has also authored and illustrated three published children’s books and performed in two theater productions with the Actors Group of Long Cove Club.
