About Me
Originally from Michigan, I moved to the Denver area in 1993 before moving to Summit County in 1995 – 26 years ago!! I was owner/chief appraiser of Alpine Appraisal, Inc. for 17 years from 1998 until 2015. I became a broker in 2015 and joined the Barr Team in early 2018.
My 2 children (now adults) were born and raised in Summit County. My wife and I like to cook and play cribbage together and we can occasionally be found sipping craft beers at a local brewery after a hike.
I gained an immense amount of market knowledge during my time as an appraiser. Owning a business and being an appraiser taught me time and employee management skills, the importance of meeting deadlines and keeping commitments and how to form positive relationships with other appraisers, real estate brokers, lenders, property managers and most importantly – homeowners.
I bring 26 years of Summit County real estate and appraisal knowledge to RE/MAX and The Barr Team to help clients find the home that best meets their needs.
