About Me
After spending numerous weekends in Harbor Country, my husband and I designed and built our craftsman bungalow. We enjoyed it as our weekend getaway until 2003 when we sold our business and moved back home to Michigan. When we built the house, it was important for me to create a place that my ten nieces and nephews could make special memories. One of the best parts of my job is being able to find that place for other families.
Once we moved here full-time, I knew real estate was the perfect fit. I have taken my real estate career very seriously and have spent the last fifteen years continuing to study the profession. Through specialized training and experience I have earned designations such as Accredited Buyer’s Representative, Certified Residential Specialist, Resort & Second Home Property Specialist, Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist, ePro and most recently Certified Negotiation Expert. This additional training is important in marketing, helping clients appropriately price their property, advising clients in making or responding to offers, and developing negotiation strategies.
As a top producer, I am repeatedly in the Top 1% of Realtors in SW Michigan.
I graduated from Michigan State University with BA in communication. My previous career was as an entrepreneur, owning and managing a successful wholesale lumber company. This experience provided me with business and managerial skills, leadership capabilities, intuitiveness and compassion for others, as well as a great understanding of home construction. I know the area very well. As an active volunteer with the Chamber and other community organizations I have a good understanding of this beautiful corner of SW Michigan. Currently living in Harbert, MI, I enjoy traveling and spending time with my husband Vaughn and our energetic black lab, Gidget.
