About Me
Hello!
My name is Matt Van Voorhis! I was born in Grand Forks, North Dakota before I moved to Edina, MN at the age of 12 with my family. I grew up in Edina and went to the University of Denver for college. I am back in Minnesota currently living in Minneapolis.
I grew up an avid hockey player my entire life which helped shape the person I am today. I left home at 16 to go play hockey for the US national team in Ann Arbor, Michigan. That experience lead me to play collegiate hockey at the University of Denver. While at DU, I was apart of the 2017 national championship team, and served as an assistant captain. After DU, I played 3 years of professional hockey - 2 of those years were spent in Oslo, Norway and 1 year was spent in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
While attending the University of Denver, I got my degree at the Daniels College of Business in Real Estate and the Built Environment. This degree taught me many valuable business and real estate lessons that have proven to be extremely important to my business today.
The reason I got into helping people buy and sell homes is because I love relationships, and helping people achieve their greatest dreams. Buying homes is one of those big moments in life, and I want to be there every step of the way for you!
