About Me
My name is MacKenna McFarland. I am 31 years old; born and raised in Indiana and spent a lot of time in Southern Ohio visiting extended family. True Midwest roots. Now, I have built a life with my husband, Austin, out here in Phoenix, Arizona. We have three pets, a tabby cat named Captain and two german shepard mixes - Datsun and Rome.
I have been carving my path in the hospitality industry for the past 10 years and have a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations and Marketing from Ball State University. I chose to go into the event industry and my career thus far has given me a lot of unique and cool experiences. From working red carpet galas to being a part of the core team at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, planning the 100th running Indy 500. Through selling venue spaces, planning and managing large scale events I found my footing here in the desert.
Now it's time for a chapter and challenge. I have always had a love for interior design and architecture. Shifting into another industry is exciting and I am very driven to find success. Down the road, I would love to get into flipping houses and eventually have some rental properties. Hard work isn't a deterrent for me.
