About Me
Laura Jensen was raised in the Denver suburbs and developed a deep love for mountain life at a young age. She cherished every weekend camping trip and made it her goal to live in the mountains full-time. After moving to Fairplay in 2018, she started a real estate photography company with her husband, not knowing it would ignite a spark for all things real estate.
Laura’s passion lies in helping people find their own slice of mountain paradise. She enjoys the complexities of the mountain real estate market. Laura provides excellent service to her clients by helping them navigate the real estate market with confidence. She has experience with a variety of short-term rental regulations and follows the ever-changing mountain vacation rental market closely. As a homeowner, she understands the unique differences in owning a mountain home such as septic systems, surveys, and private wells. She is detail oriented and leads with compassion.
Before becoming a realtor, Laura worked in accounting and finance after graduating from the University of Wyoming with her degree in accounting. In her spare time, Laura enjoys hiking and camping with her husband and their dogs. Laura is an avid wildlife photographer and spends as much time as possible in nature. She is also a huge LOTR fan and has a life size scene from The Hobbit in her front yard!
