About Me
I’ve been in Charlotte since 1998. I grew up in St. Albans VT and after graduating from the University of Virginia with a BA in Psychology & Theater I was off to NYC. As an off Broadway wardrobe mistress, and costume design assistant, I enjoyed using my degree. However after a few years in the City, I desired a spot with more of a balance, ”a place to expand my career, raise a family and grow old happily”. Charlotte certainly offers that. There are great artistic and musical performances, exciting sports teams to follow, amazing locations for outdoor exploring, top notch restaurants, bars and breweries, great destinations to day trip to and rollerblading around Freedom Park reminded me a bit of Central Park.
I enjoy being active and adding value to the lives of those around me. In the past, I’ve run the Marine Corp marathon, been the coxswain for the UVA crew team and a Girls on the Run coach. These days it's walking the dog, being the loudest cheering mom at my son, Parker’s lacrosse games (Go Flagler College Saints!) or early morning workouts with the FIA (Females in Action) ladies. I also enjoy each summer when I teach teens about leadership, goal setting, people skills, and group dynamics through Tomorrow’s America Foundation. I lead a ladies bible study and volunteer as a project manager for events at Elevation church.
I have been licensed as a North Carolina Broker since 2002 and added my South Carolina license after my journey through breast cancer in 2015. As a full time agent, I am fully focused on my clients. I keep track of the details and offer solutions. Through the years I have worked as a Broker/Realtor®, home stager, and a closing coordinator. I enjoy putting my creative talents to work to connect people with the best solutions for them, the best local professionals, their new community and new friends. My success relies on satisfied clients who have made good investments, love their home and/or peacefully went through the process of selling.
