In 2014, he acquired RE/MAX 10, a brokerage that his mother, Val, had been managing for several years. Together, they formed a formidable team, propelling RE/MAX 10 to become the largest RE/MAX brokerage in Illinois and one of the most productive in the state.
Over the span of a decade, Laki has orchestrated remarkable growth for RE/MAX 10, expanding from 3 office locations and 75 agents to an impressive network of 9 offices and nearly 300 agents and staff, servicing the vibrant Chicagoland area. This expansion has been fueled by Laki's relentless commitment to delivering unparalleled agent and customer experiences.
Laki's leadership is deeply rooted in a foundation of sales expertise and coaching. Prior to his real estate ventures, he spent nearly a decade coaching and developing young men at the esteemed Mount Carmel High School in Chicago, where he achieved remarkable success, winning several championships during his tenure.
Not unlike the gridiron, Laki's prowess in the real estate arena has been recognized with numerous accolades, including being named Broker Owner of the Year an impressive four times, with a remarkable three-peat from 2020 to 2023.
