About Me
Kristi Mueller was raised on a small farm in the picturesque town of Sweet Home, Oregon, with her mom, dad and two brothers. “My first job was catching fish from our pond and selling them to people in the community,” she fondly recalls. After high school Kristi enrolled at U.C. Davis to play water polo, further her education and live in a city with more than 2 stoplights. She graduated in 1991 with a BA in English - and a national college water polo title.
The same year, she also received her California real estate license. Kristi brought the same passion and drive to her new career that she had carried into to the pool. At the age of 22, she earned the title “Realtor Rookie of the Year” for sales volume for the city of Davis, CA, and she has received real estate awards and honors for her achievements on behalf of her clients every year she has been a realtor.
Kristi continued selling real estate in Yolo County and San Francisco prior to joining the dot.com boom, working for several years in marketing and PR in the corporate sector. In 2001 she returned to real estate and joined her brother in Atlanta, GA, where the pair became one of the most successful REO real estate teams in the state.
In 2012, she shifted her focus to residential real estate, joining forces in 2014 with Jacki Gould. It was a perfect fit. “I have been part of a team since the day I was born. I was successful on my own, but I really missed the camaraderie of a team and what it brings to my clients.”
Kristi now resides in Decatur, GA, with her husband Eddy & twins, Charlie and Zoe. She enjoys spending time with family, friends and still fishes, swims and gardens in her spare time. She values the many lessons life has taught her and loves the business she first began in back in 1991. “Real estate gives me a sense of balance that comes with being part of a community. You get to help a person close one chapter of their life and begin a new entirely new book.
