About Me

"Rooted in the Smokies" is a good description of Keith. Keith's father was born on the family farm in the Deep Creek watershed area of Swain County before the family was displaced by the formation of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. His father and family owned and operated travel and tourism businesses in western North Carolina for almost 100 years. Keith earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at Chapel Hill and a Juris Doctorate at Wake Forest. He practiced law in the seven counties of southwestern North Carolina for 30 years with a primary focus on property transactions and property disputes. In 2005 Keith opened a real estate brokerage firm and invested in land and managed residential rentals. In his free time, Keith enjoys spending time with his family, hiking/camping, gardening and working on his mountain farmstead. He is serves his home community by serving as Chair of the Dillsboro Planning and Zoning Board and on the Board of Alderman. And he is a proud member of the Friends of the Great Smokies and Carolina Real Estate Investors Association (CREIA). His focus at Re/Max Executive is fine homes and mountain cabins on the streams and lakes of western North Carolina and commercial businesses and land. Let Keith find your mountain retreat, primary home or next business opportunity.
