For more than 24 years, Katie Compian DeHaven has been a vital asset to the B/CS real estate community, and she has helped countless buyers and sellers make the most of their financial goals. Katie is a graduate of Texas A&M where she earned a degree in Leadership and Development. As a life-long resident of the Brazos Valley, Katie has a vested interest in the local community and is driven both personally and professionally to improve the lives of the people around her. That's why Katie's clients become much more than associates, they become family. She has not only earned the respect of her clients, but she has earned a place in their hearts. As a native of Iola and the Brazos Valley, Katie has extensive knowledge of the areas surrounding BCS, particularly Brazos County & Grimes County. Her experiences in residential and rural real estate over the past decade have made her one of the area's leading property specialists, consistently earning a place as a top producing Realtor in the Brazos Valley rankings. One of the highlights of Katie’s career was earning the Chairman’s Club Award for RE/MAX of Texas in 2021 and the Hall of Fame Award for RE/MAX of Texas in 2019. She has also earned the Platinum Club Award from 2015-2020 and again in 2022. She has earned a spot in the Top 500 for RE/MAX of Texas from 2015-2022. Katie has a passion for giving back to the community in which she lives, and she puts her ample knowledge to work to serve others. She is a Texas Realtor Leadership Program graduate of 2016 and she has served for over 6 years on the Bryan / College Station Association of Realtors MLS Board of Directors. She currently spends her spare time serving as VP for Voices for Children Brazos Valley, volunteering for Make-A-Wish Foundation, elected as the Secretary/Treasurer for the BCS Regional Association of Realtors MLS Board, and elected as VP of the Grimes County Health Resource Commission, and Secretary of the Iola Cemetery Association.
