About Me
Karen Irace is a native Chicagoan who is an award winning Realtor with nearly 1000 homes sold and over two decades of experience. She is well versed in all areas of residential real estate and will take you through the process to achieve your real estate goals.
A few years ago Karen bought a home in the Sea Towers community in St. Pete and decided to transition her business to Florida. Karen has spent many years as a Managing Broker and trainer. She is the former Director of Professional Development for several RE/MAX locations responsible for broker education. Karen earned the prestigious CRS designation from the Council of Residential Specialists, the highest level awarded to Brokers with consistent high-level production. Karen also holds the coveted Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist (CLHMS) designation, specific to representing luxury homes. Karen’s expert knowledge of the industry has earned her invitations to speak at the National Assn of Realtors Convention and internationally at the IPAV Conference in Dublin Ireland.
Karen has extensive leadership experience having been elected to the Board of Directors Mainstreet Organization which serves 20,000 members, ultimately serving as President in 2018. Karen was voted the 2020 Mainstreet Realtor of the Year. She has served on the Illinois Realtors Board of Directors and the National Assn of Realtors Board. She’s a RE/MAX Hall of Fame broker and a Platinum Club Team leader. Karen appreciates the marriage she has built over 35 years with her husband Ron. For now they’re splitting time between St. Pete and Chicago, as they’re helping with parents. They have a daughter Christy, son in law Brooks, a 2 1/2 year old grandson Beau and a newborn grandson Gunnar – another reason to go back and forth! Karen spends most of her free time with family, golfing, cycling or cooking in addition to her philanthropic activism for the Great Cycle Challenge to support pediatric cancer, Special Olympics and Toys for Tots.
