About Me
I Joe Vigo, was born at home in a little farm town in Cuba, into a farming family. At an
early age my parents moved to the USA. My father immediately started
working for a friend at a farm in Homestead FL, and I went on to school and
also helped my father around the farm after school. As a teenager I started
shifting into the mechanical field and later on I moved into the trucking industry
where I drove trucks across the country. I was then given an opportunity to buy
my own truck in my early 20’s and became an owner operator (self-
employed). In 1995 I had the opportunity to start the American dream…my
own trucking company with the help of a large company as a franchise
branch owner. Around 2002 I entered the real estate world helping a friend
as a hobby. In 2003 I shifted gears one more time…I became a licensed Real
Estate Agent and joined forces with Prudential in Key Largo Florida as a part-
time Agent. I quickly learned the market in the Florida Keys, Homestead and
the Redland areas. In 2007 I resigned all my interest in the trucking company
and became a full-time Real Estate Agent. I have acquired many years of
knowledgeable real estate experience in South Florida and the Florida Keys
that I now as a RE/MAX Real Estate Agent share with all my clients.
