About Me

Jim Walters lives and works in the resort town of Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Jim focuses on Luxury residential, Ski and Ranch properties and was recently awarded the Institute of Luxury Home Marketing's highest professional designation of 'GUILD-ELITE' for the luxury marketplace. In 2020, Jim partnered with Turcotte Construction for the design, construction and sales of a boutique residential and commercial office development - 'Steamboat Lofts at Riverside'. Jim is a Colorado native and a registered professional geologist. He earned his BA degrees in Psychology and Geology, and a Masters degree in Geology, from the University of Colorado at Boulder. As a real estate investor, Jim has owned property in the Steamboat Springs area for over 30 years and permanently relocated to Steamboat Springs in 2004. Jim enjoys traveling, mountain biking, skiing, vintage cars, and playing guitar in local clubs.
