About Me
Nashville native Gloria Houghland is a University of Tennessee-Knoxville graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing and economics.
Following a brief stint as a retail buyer and salesperson, Houghland became a dedicated public school teacher. She has taught Marketing and served as a Work-Based Learning Coordinator at Franklin High School for more than 35 years. Houghland is also the social correspondent for NFocus magazine, where she has been a regular contributor for over 10 years.
Her plethora of experience and innate knowledge of the Nashville community and surrounding counties (in particular Williamson County where she once resided) gives her an unparalleled advantage when it comes to serving her real estate customers.
Houghland has held her Affiliate license with Lipman Realty, now known as RE/MAX Homes and Estates, Lipman Group since 1991. Her enthusiasm about residential real estate, her people skills and outgoing personality all played a role in her decision to pursue a career in the real estate profession. Her desire to assist her buyers and sellers in achieving and surpassing their goals in obtaining "the American dream" keeps her fully engaged and on her toes year-round.
