Dean specializes in commercial and business brokerage related real estate transactions, business consulting and has been a licensed Florida real estate associate since 2004. Dr. K has enjoyed a 25+ year career as a serial entrepreneur with ventures that range in scope from the hospitality industry, real estate development, real estate investment and real estate brokerage. Dean has leveraged his operational expertise in developing the Florida market for a national restaurant chain, opening multiple locations coast to coast within the state of Florida. He has secured multiple locations in the Metro Tampa Bay area and has launched several successful hospitality and real estate ventures of his own. Dean’s core values in real estate brokerage are the same values that have made him successful in all of his business ventures: Empathy, Reliability and Exceeding Expectations.
In the last 10 years Dean has assisted numerous clients in selling their legacy businesses (including his own) that had been established and in business from 20 to 46 years. His expertise in property valuation, business valuation, strategic positioning and 1031 Tax Deferred exchange have helped his clients maximize the financial benefits of their lifelong work.
Dr. K is also a professor of strategic management and entrepreneurship, and the Associate Director of the Lowth Entrepreneurship Center at the John H. Sykes College of Business at The University of Tampa. His intimate knowledge and expertise of business operations make him a great asset for his clients and differentiates him from many other real estate professionals.
