My husband and I live on a small farm and love when our kids and grandkids stop by for visits or help us gather eggs or feed the animals. The needs within our community often tug at my heart. I'm an active board member with The Edwards Center - an extraordinary local organization which serves adults with developmental disabilities in all facets of their lives. Other organizations I champion include the Imani House - a special home in Portland which supports and cares for foster boys. These are just a couple of organizations I've committed to helping in our community. I feel my commitment and compassion to others is also evident in my professional life. So many of my clients turn into life-long friends. I get to celebrate when they have a new baby, a graduation or wedding. It's hard to describe the joy when a wonderful, longtime client refers me to their grown child, who is now ready to buy their first home - talk about coming "full circle"! I'm absolutely honored by their friendships and the small part I play in the milestones of their lives!
