About Me
As a native of Charlottesville, Virginia I’ve always had a genuine interest in and appreciation for the neighborhoods and rural beauty that make up our pocket of Central Virginia. From White Hall to Keswick, Edman to Forest Lakes, Earlysville to Esmont, Belmont to Fry Springs, each has its own unique aesthetic.
Following graduation from Roanoke College, I moved into a three bedroom row home just off of Anna Cooper Circle in the Ledroit Park neighborhood of Washington, DC. Living in this historic neighborhood, founded in the late 19th century with 64 original homes all unique in design, is what triggered my interest in a future in real estate.
One thing led to another and life took me down a different path, but after a number of years in a corporate software sales role I decided to transition away from what I like to call a “sell umm and forget umm” type of transaction to something that is based more on relationship building, trust, and professionalism. After 12 years in The District, I returned to Charlottesville where I have been fortunate enough to work with friends and family, old classmates, and new clients.
My career as a professional real estate agent encapsulates all the qualities my clients deserve, and I deliver. I am a big believer in an education first mindset, whether that be educating a first time home buyer on how the home buying process works, to creating a detailed proforma when working with seasoned investors. Education is key when selecting the right asset to generate wealth over time.
When I’m not walking neighborhoods with clients, or holding open houses you can find me playing softball, golfing at Keswick Country Club, fishing the James or Rivanna River(s), barbecuing with my family and friends, or taking Millie, my American Staffordshire Terrier, out to explore all that Virginia has to offer.
Referrals drive of my business, they’re always welcome and much appreciated!
