About Me
I appreciate that you are taking the time to find out a little bit about me, my experiences, areas of expertise and the reasons to work with me to achieve your real estate goals, regardless of where you are in your life journey
Whether you are new to the area, or like me, have lived here for many years, feel comfortable knowing I was raised in South Bend and know the area well. Having graduated from Saint Mary's College in Notre Dame, IN with a degree in Business Economics, I have a long term perspective of South Bend both as a young person growing up here, as well as a parent and business person, working and living in this neck of the woods.
I have had the privilege of raising two wonderful children right here in this fantastic community, as well. One of my children has special needs, which has given me unique insight into the resources and local services available for other such families. Additionally, I have devoted many years to local volunteer organizations and community boards of directors.
After experiencing the transition to "empty nester" first hand, I came to understand the unique circumstances and issues involved. Therefore, in order to more effectively work with those in similar situations, I obtained my SRES (Senior Real Estate Specialist) designation which provided me with the knowledge and experience to counsel more senior clients through major financial and lifestyle transitions.
I believe my business philosophy could best be summed up as a service oriented real estate professional who is responsive and available to answer your questions or service your unique set of needs. Whether you are "full steam ahead" with a goal of becoming a first-time-homeowner, relocating to this area, refinancing the loan on your current home or selling the family home and transitioning into a care facility, I would be honored to walk you through the process and direct you to the appropriate financial professionals.
