About Me
I first became a real estate agent in 2008 and worked in the field until the end of 2015. My primary clientele at that time were first time homebuyers. My focus was on building relationships with my clients by taking time to answer all of their questions, including the questions they didn't know to ask. In 2016, I needed something with more of a set schedule and began working in the public school system as a classroom assistant for the special education preschool classes. Initially I worked at Hamilton Southeastern Schools and then at Southview Preschool with Anderson Community Schools.
In January 2024, I returned to real estate but this time with a different perspective. While my primary clientele is still first time homebuyers, my focus now also includes building stronger neighborhoods. A large part of this vision is met through increasing homeownership (Anderson homeownership rates are lower than the national average).
On a personal note, I have a wife (also named Angie), two children (Ashley and Trent), a dog (Karma), and a cat (Dickens). My simple pleasures include camping/hiking, gardening/canning, daily yoga, and reading. I am also very active in the community of Anderson. Some of my favorite civic activities include attending city government meetings, encouraging and educating about civic engagement, participating in litter clean ups, and running a non-profit called Madison County SURE- Standing Up for Racial Equity.
