About Me
Hello! I'm Amanda Shepherd and I was born and raised in Arizona. My husband and I moved to Iowa in the fall of 2010 where I quickly felt at home! We currenly live in Huxley with our children and love the community and schools here!
I work with families in Central Iowa to help them sell and/or find the perfect place to call home, all while ensuring they have a great experience. I have been a REALTOR® since 2016 and have recently (2021) received my Brokers License to become a Broker Associate with RE/MAX Concepts. Becoming a Broker Associate has helped me gain more knowledge and confidence when working with clients and other REALTORS®.
With the MRP Designation (Military Relocation Professional) I am able to use my knowledge and skills learned to help Military Families and our Veterans find that perfect place to call home and transition smoothly to the next journey. I am honored and excited to be able to serve those who have served our country! I also carry the CNE (Certified Negotiation Expert) Designation. As a CNE I have gone through training and continue to learn so that I am able to negotiate the best possible outcome for YOU and your family. Taking that designation one step further I also obtained my MCNE (Master Certified Negotiation Expert).
When I'm not helping people find their dream home or sell a home you can find me enjoying time with my family! We love to watch our two boys play sports, our daughter grow and learn new things, go swimming, camping, and take road trips!
