About Me
"To 'keep on' living requires both radical thinking and willingness to change."
Why? Because living means life changes. Our willingness to meet these changes determines our success. I want to be the person who helps others face selling the family farm, buying their first house, deciding on a commercial location, or finding the perfect vacation home. Property is not just about the "ground," it is about people, their needs, their dreams. I want to be part of helping other's dreams come true.
Growing up in West Virginia, I was steeped in strong Appalachian principles of hard work, loyalty, helpfulness, common sense, and faith. My father believed that education and travel were keys to understanding cultures and people; thus adventures, from hiking in the woods to exploring another country or region in the US, became highlights in my life. My family invested in real estate and familiar topics were "how-to" buy and sell. After completing my professional education, I married Bobby Guet, and we began to invest in property. My career and lifestyle expanded from a medical background, to entrepreneurs in fitness and business, to bicycling across America twice. All the while, I continued to enjoy my interest in real estate. I wanted to share this interest by helping others in their decisions to buy and sell.
In 2002, I obtained my real estate license. I became the top producer in the office; "Realtor of the Year" in 2016 and 2018 Greenbrier Valley Board of Realtors (GVBOR); featured on HGTV's House Hunters in 2017; President of the GVBOR in 2018, 2019; obtained my broker's license in 2020, and opened RE/MAX LIFESTYLE REALTY in 2020.
