About Me
Alexandra Beall is grew up in Manlius, NY and earned a Sociology/Anthropology degree from Denison University. With that degree, she traveled to Paraguay to serve in the Peace Corps as a Beekeeping and Agriculture volunteer for two years. Once her service ended, she moved to DC to become a Peace Corps recruiter, becoming the Corps’ most productive recruiter in the process. Alex met her husband, Jeff, while on a charity bike ride down the C&O Canal. Shortly thereafter, she enrolled in Culinary School at DC Metro Area’s own L’Academie de Cuisine where she received high honors in Baking and Pastry Arts, and won Jeff’s heart with her cooking. They ended up marrying, having children, and settling in Arlington. As Jeff’s business grew, Alex joined him in the real estate biz and found that her people skills and HGTV flair for decorating was much appreciated by clients. Alex is an expert on home staging (Accredited Staging Professional) and marketing clients’ homes and prides herself on being able to bring out any home’s inner fabulousness. As an active parent in the Arlington, VA school system, she is an excellent source of information about the local schools. A perfect Sunday might find Alex attending a hot yoga class, hiking with her family, baking up a storm, combing thrift stores, then kicking back at a barbecue with neighbors and friends.
