About Me
I have lived on the Eastern shore for six years. Within those six years I have lived in 4 different cities. So you could say that I'm well versed in what the Eastern shore has to offer! I moved from Denver, Colorado to Salisbury, Maryland. I definitely went from big city living to small town living, which comes with adjustments. Salisbury was convenient for me while I attended Salisbury University, although I now live 45 minuets away & I still find myself coming to Salisbury for the basic needs such as Sams Club, Target, and to see my nail tech at Queen's Nails. I moved from Salisbury to Fruitland which most think of as an extension of Salisbury. In most cases Fruitland is just an extension but when it comes to taxes, home prices, & city rules- things switch up quickly! From Fruitland I moved to Delmar, Delaware where I was able to purchase my first home! The tax break you get in Delaware as a homeowner is no joke! To this day Delmar is my favorite city that I've lived in, on the eastern shore. Delmar is mere minutes away from all Salisbury has to offer, equal distance to beach or bay, and obviously a relatively quick shot to anywhere in Delaware. My first home is now serving as a fruitful rental property that's in high demand due to the well-respected school district it sits in. From Delmar I moved to and currently reside in Ocean Pines. While Salisbury holds some basic needs, Ocean Pines holds the two biggest necessities: Great food & Beaches. My boyfriend, our dog, and I love nothing more than OC in the off season when the beaches are almost completely empty and our dog- Rico, gets to run around off leash. I'm also a huge foodie so I definitely can't name all my favorite spots but to give you an idea on some of my favorites: Spain Wine Bar (Downtown OC), Our Harvest (In Delaware but Fenwick Island is so close to OC you can't even tell you're crossing state lines), Kaiju Sushi (Berlin), Shotti's Point (Midtown OC), The shark on the Harbour (West OC).
