I'm a broker associate with RE/MAX Gold - Selzer and Associates in Ukiah. I sell homes in town and land out past the pavement across Mendocino, Lake and Sonoma counties, and I've been doing it for over 20 years with 600+ closed transactions. In town, I sell homes, commercial property and investment property, and I start every one the same way: zoning, condition and the numbers. Out of town, it's all of that plus what can stop a deal: well output and water quality, septic permits, Cal Fire defensible space, road access, insurability and financing. Every property has warts. I find them before you close. I grew up in Redwood Valley. Before real estate I served in the Navy, trained horses, worked at a county farm supply and installed urethane processing systems and flow meters in the field, here and overseas. I look at a property the way I'd look at a system: where the water comes from, where the waste goes, and how a truck gets up the road in January. I also work with VA buyers, people relocating to the area, retirees planning their next move, and families transferring property to the next generation.
