Professional Service You Can Trust!
Ed has been a licensed REALTOR® since 2002 and has been involved with Real Estate in both Fort Worth and the Bryan-College Station area. He strives to consistently provide “Professional service you can trust” to all of his clients and to other REALTORS®.
Ed was born and raised in Waco. Upon graduation from Waco High School, he attended Texas A&M where he was in the Corps of Cadets. He was selected to the Ross Volunteer Company as a junior. For his senior year, he was named Commanding Officer of Squadron 8 and was designated an Air Force Distinguished Military Student. Upon completion of his Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, he immediately entered Graduate School at A&M in a brand new degree program called Computer Science. (Texas A&M was the first school in the world to offer a degree in Computer Science at any level. They began with a Master of Science degree.)
Ed joined IBM upon graduation and worked on NASA’s Gemini and Apollo space missions. While at NASA, he designed and wrote significant portions of the first Real Time Operating System, a portion of the system that calculated the spacecraft’s trajectory to the moon and back, and all of the programs that calculated when the spacecraft would be acquired by each radar site throughout the world.
Ed transitioned from outer space back to earth and for the next 25 years was the Chief Information Officer charged with managing the information departments for multibillion dollar corporations such as Sysco Corporation (wholesale food distribution), Zapata Corporation (George Bush’s original oil & gas company – then an international conglomerate), and Texas Oil & Gas (nation’s largest independent Oil & Gas company).
Oracle Corporation enticed Ed to enter the world of technology and management consulting. For several years, he represented Oracle and Cambridge Energy Research Associates in many international research projects in the energy and technology industries.
Ed’s love for Texas A&M runs deep. He is a charter member of the Century Club, a long-time member of the 12th Man Foundation, and a former member of the Texas A&M University System Chancellor’s Century Council. He is a long-time member of the Executive Council of the Center for Management of Information Systems in the Mays School of Business at A&M.
