About Us

RE/MAX Real Estate Center was originally founded as "Clore & Duncan Realty" in the 1960's when Oldham County, KY was the number one world-wide producer of Orchard Grass seed, still a staple of quality hay throughout the world. In time, the partners decided that due to family concerns, a very friendly business split would be best for all and the name Clore and Duncan Realty remained while Clore & Jones Realty was formed and which eventually became RE/MAX Real Estate Center by the time that Oldham County was changing from sleepy agriculture to busy lifestyles and modern home developments. On January 1, 2010, the heirs of the Clore and Jones family sold RE/MAX Real Estate Center to Gale and Tom Cox, owners of RE/MAX FourSquare Realty. This merger brought all of Oldham County back into one home-based brand. RE/MAX Real Estate Center has continued to provide Oldham County with outstanding real estate services through its top-notch training, systems, and marketing. In 2015, RE/MAX Real Estate Center added RE/MAX Champions as a corporate partner. RE/MAX Champions continues to serve as a branch of RE/MAX Real Estate Center. In 2022, we consolidated our brand to be RE/MAX Real Estate Champions.
