Some of us are lucky enough to have lived here all our lives. Some were born here, have left for school, work, or family, only to return. Some have found our way here after searching for just the right place, right community. No matter what brought us to this moment, in this place, we all share in the common good fortune of calling the Camden/Rockport area our home.
Visitors come throughout the year, eager to share in our bountiful variety of attractions: Our harbors and lakes; the coming together of the mountains and the sea affording views in all directions; outdoor adventure -- on foot, by wheels, or boat; restaurants that rival any you can find in bigger cities; unique shopping in boutiques and small shops found only here; our many cultural venues for fine music by local musicians and guest performers from across the globe; nationally renowned conferences and film festivals including The Camden Conference, Camden International Film Festival and POPTech!; the Maine light and air that artists have sought for centuries.
