About Me
Why did you get into Real Estate?
I like to say I didn’t get into real estate, it got into me! Being a REALTOR is not a job, it’s a lifestyle. My background and education is in business administration; marketing/accounting. My first job in Greenwood in 1993 was working with a company that was in real estate, construction, property management, and insurance. I was the office manager and assistant to the BIC. Having learned the business of real estate from the administrative side has proved to be very helpful in terms of organizing and planning. So that is where it all began, and I love it (most days anyway)!
What do you do when you’re not selling homes?
I enjoy hanging out with my family which consists of my fiancé, Robby, our “children” ages 19-26, and our English Springer Spaniel, Delta. Our youngest son is an avid baseball player so we’ve spent a lot of time at the ballpark. We hope to continue that tradition at Lander University where he’s a student and plans to continue playing ball. I also love working in the yard, treasure hunting at yard sales or thrift stores, reading, and playing on the lake.
What’s your favorite thing about Greenwood?
There’s so much to love about Greenwood but my favorite thing is the LAKE! Our little piece of property on Lake Greenwood is my happy place. I love everything about being at the lake-from water skiing, wake boarding, wake surfing, kayaking, and paddle boarding to simply cruising on the pontoon, floating on my wave pad or boat watching from the dock. The people though, the “river rats”, the ones who love the laid-back lifestyle too- that’s where it truly is.
Any special skills?
Knowledge is key! I love educating and counseling buyers and sellers, so they know what to expect throughout the whole process. To me, real estate isn’t about selling houses, it’s about providing top-notch customer service – to everyone, every time!
