About Me

Veronica, originally from Mexico, relocated to El Paso, TX with her family for her secondary education. Later, they moved to Missouri, where her mother and step-father owned and operated Biltmore Resort on Bull Shoals Lake until its sale in 1996. Having pursued her education at the College of the Ozarks, Veronica graduated in May 1998 with a Bachelor of Science in Sociology, emphasizing in social work. Shortly after graduating, she married Jon in June 1998, and they began building their family, now the proud parents to three children and a son in law —Isabel and Tanner, Bryce, and Sam. Veronica’s passion for education emerged in 2006 when she joined the Branson School District as a Parent Educator with Branson Parents as Teachers. She later shifted to the secondary level, working with English as a second language students (ELL/ESL) and eventually specializing in Social Science within Special Education. As online education gained momentum, Veronica became an online Spanish instructor. A lifelong learner, Veronica obtained certifications in Spanish, Cross Categorical Special Education, and earned her Masters in Educational Technology from Missouri State University in May 2020. In the fall of 2023 entering a new phase of life as empty nesters, Veronica joined her husband in Real Estate, aligning with her commitment to support her family in their endeavors.
