About Me
I began my real estate career in 1984, following family members into the business at age 25 in a small office, moving in 1994, to join RE/MAX Equity Group. There I found a great office full of topnotch people and it became my "real estate home".
Growing up in Oregon, I've experienced a lot of growth and change, seeing Hillsboro grow from about 8,500 to over 100, 000 people and Oregon grow by about 60%. People are often surprised at how well I know the area, but I've been here since 1961. I grew up in the local farm community, picking berries at age 8 to buy a new bicycle, cutting wood in the coast range in winters with my dad and camping all over western Oregon. I learned from an early age that a good work ethic gets the job done and gets it done right.
I've been lucky enough to have worked with many wonderful people and families, finding the perfect home or selling one so they could head to their next adventure in life, and made may friends along the way. I always look forward to meeting new people to help with their home buying and selling adventures. I place a high value on those relationships and am very thankful that I have been entrusted to help guide them through the complexities of what is usually the largest financial transaction they will have. I was especially honored to be selected by my clients as a national customer service award winner and strive to live up to that in every transaction. One of the things I have enjoyed most is working with clients who grew up in homes that I sold to their parents.
In my free time I can be found at a farmer's market or seeking out the next best happy hour, at a big screen TV with a football game on, or trying out a new restaurant or food cart, and you're always welcome to join! I love living in Oregon, but I also like a winter get away to a sunny beach somewhere!
Give me a call, and let's get started on your next real estate adventure.
