Originally from the Midwest, Shirley began her career in sales and marketing as the owner of three retail-clothing stores. After years of running successful businesses, she developed a keen interest in real estate.
In 1994, the Smith's discovered the Lake Oconee area. They immediately fell in love with the area and had found the perfect place to live, work, and play.
The Smiths love having their sons and their families nearby. Their son, Bill Smith, is in management for a large equipment company in Atlanta, while their other son, Dr. Ted Smith, resides here at Lake Oconee with his family. He owns and operates Pure Chiropractic with locations in Eatonton and Milledgeville.
