HONEST. HARD-WORKING. EXPERIENCED. A native Vermonter and REALTOR® since 2005, Rich Gardner has spent more than 20 years helping people buy, sell, build, and better understand Vermont real estate. Rich began his career at his family's boutique brokerage in Colchester. In 2012, he became an owner and partner at RE/MAX North Professionals, which has grown to five offices throughout Vermont. Today, he leads The Gardner Group, an award-winning team recognized by RealTrends as one of America's Best Real Estate Professional Teams. Rich's knowledge of homes began long before real estate. He earned a degree in Architectural Engineering from Vermont Technical College and grew up in his family's construction business. He has been involved in the design, construction, and oversight of hundreds of homes, giving his clients a unique perspective when buying, selling, building, or evaluating a property. Rich served on the Board of Directors of the Northwest Vermont REALTOR® Association and as its President in 2012. He was nationally certified to teach the GREEN Designation to fellow REALTORS® and received the Association's Distinguished Service Award in 2022. Since 2008, Rich has been actively involved with Camp Ta-Kum-Ta, volunteering as a counselor, serving nine years on its Board of Directors, and supporting its year-round programs. He is also a co-founder of Vermont Ice Golf Charity, an annual tournament on frozen Lake Champlain benefiting Camp Ta-Kum-Ta. Rich lives in Colchester with his wife, Allison, and their sons, Theo and Thomas. For Rich, real estate is about more than buying and selling homes. It's about helping people make good decisions, solving problems, and building relationships that last long after closing.
