It's 2013, and I'm starting a new career in Real Estate. I'm excited but nervous. I've worked in medicine for 28 years, where I am the expert, precision matters, and knowledge matters. Now I have to start from scratch.
I knew my background in contract negotiations, real estate investments, and digital marketing would help, but I needed more. I sign up for every course I can find. First, it was land sales with water rights, an appraisal course, next first-time home buyers, and of course, my passion, luxury real estate. I am living the dream.
I meet Shaina, another real estate agent, in my office. We have the same work ethic and a little OCD about the details. It’s official, three months of working together and we know we are a good team.
We both had a bad experience buying and selling our own homes, and we are determined not to let anyone go through the same stress of home buying or selling.
We both know there is a better way to take care of clients. We like to educate buyers and sellers on the process to understand what to expect and answer all their questions.
The home-buying experience should be fun and exciting-not, daunting! We decide we like working with first-time home buyers, luxury home buyers and sellers, and even buyers wanting to upgrade or downgrade.
When you are buying or selling your home, there is some anxiety. We like to communicate and be there for our clients, making the whole process a lot less stressful.
