Laurie is a second generation real estate professional who puts her clients first. Career started in 1973 at Marie Powell & Associates. In 1991 Laurie became broker/owner of her own 2 offices in Pasco & Hernando Counties which she owned or 16 years. Following the golden rule “treat everyone as you want them to treat you” is her motto. Laurie has been president of 3 local associations, realtor of the year twice, earned Humanitarian of the year from the Florida Association of Realtors, Realtor Achievement award, earned the Chairman's Club in 2019, Hall of Fame for Re/Max, International Real Estate Hall of Fame 2019, and has provided service to the domestic violence shelter and other programs to help single parents get on their feet. Laurie has her BA in Business and Real Estate. Serving my clients and making sure they know they are very important is Laurie’s goal. Laurie’s mother, Marie Powell was an honest to goodness real estate legend, who was her mentor. Growing up in the real estate business, Laurie learned from her early days the dedication and care needed to List, Sell, Rent and Manage the Real Estate Process.
