About Me
Kristin Ferris is a native New Englander who has happily settled into North Carolina following her family who made it their home in 1995. She is now a self-proclaimed “island girl”, residing in her forever home in Kure Beach and loving the coastal life.
Prior to pursuing a career in real estate, Kristin was a self-employed events planner for 20 years following a rewarding career as Director of Events and Marketing for a city non-profit. She also worked (before it was even legal!) for many years in the family interior design and space planning business where her love for all things home, design and architecture began.
Now as a real estate agent, her love for home, design and architecture coupled with her entrepreneurial spirit, allows her to help her clients realize their housing dreams – whether its selling or buying a property.
Kristin is a proud graduate of The Pennsylvania State University and loves a good collegiate rivalry football game! She is also the proud Auntie to 17-year-old twins who call her Kiki and have been the apple of her eye since they were minutes old. She’s excited to see where the future takes them after graduating from high school – one is even considering UNCW!
If you don’t run into Kristin walking the beach or poking around in island shops, she is probably cooking up her famous tortellini sausage soup, preparing a seafood boil, or a charcuterie board for her family and friends. Toasting island life with a Prosecco or a Cosmo, you can be certain, no one ever goes hungry or thirsty at her house.
Volunteering in the community and helping others is a big part of her life. She is a member of the Cape Fear Realtors Community Affairs Committee and the WARM NC Gala Committee.
So, looking for a knowledgeable realtor who cares? Look no further than Kristin Ferris of The Butch Saunders Team at Re/Max Essential in Wilmington, NC.
Realizing your dream home is her passion!
