Kandi Wood
REALTOR-Mentor-Brokerage Supervisor
I'm Kandi Wood, a Texas REALTOR® serving Abilene and communities throughout the Big Country. I've called this area home for 35 years, and that local knowledge, combined with experience across many areas of real estate, helps me confidently guide my clients through just about any kind of transaction. I work with buyers and sellers in residential real estate, new construction, farm and ranch and land, investment properties, distressed and REO properties, and commercial real estate. My job goes far beyond getting a property listed or under contract. I'm there to communicate, problem solve, negotiate, anticipate issues, and help my clients understand their options from beginning to end. Giving back to the community I love is important to me. I proudly donate a portion of every closing to Children's Miracle Network, benefiting our local Hendrick Children's Hospital, in honor of my clients. I also support local animal charities and community events. I also mentor new REALTORS®, helping them build a strong foundation and learn how to serve their own clients well. Real estate and entrepreneurship run in my family. I grew up around hard work, problem solving, and the importance of doing things the right way, values I've carried into my own business and the way I serve my clients. I'm proud to be with The Brandi Smith Team at RE/MAX Big Country while continuing to build a business and reputation of my own centered around working hard for my clients and finding solutions when things don't go according to plan. When I'm not working, you'll usually find me with my family, surrounded by our many animals, or somewhere on a back road checking out a property. Whether you're buying, building new, selling, looking for land, investing, or dealing with a transaction that's a little more complicated than usual, I'd love the opportunity to help.
