About Me

I was born and raised in southeast Texas. I graduated from Little Cypress Mauriceville, and from there I attended Galveston College on a softball scholarship. I received my Associate's Degree and then transferred to Lamar University in Beaumont on a softball scholarship and got my Bachelor's Degree. After graduating, I worked as a paint contractor for 6 years, while learning the ins and outs of the home building process. I am married to my husband, Kyle, and we have one son. We live on a little farm in Mauriceville where we raise cows and chickens and do a little gardening. We plan on canning our own produce and love to learn different ways to live off the land!
