John has 21 years experience as a full-time real estate agent serving Berks County Pennsylvania and its surrounding counties. He specializes in Residential Buyer and Seller Representation, Commercial Real Estate, New Construction and Corporate Relocation. In representing his clients with a high level of personal service, John takes great care to communicate with and listen to his clients' specific needs. His attention to detail, consistent follow through, and determination to provide his clients with first-class service sets him apart from other agents.
John is a life-long resident of Berks County and has been married to his wife, Gloria for 51 years. They have two daughters, Melissa and Amy. John has a Bachelor's Degree and a Master's Degree from Kutztown University, as well as 45 Post-Graduate Credits from Penn State University. He taught A.P. American History and A.P. European History in Lancaster County for 33 years before becoming a full-time real estate agent. John enjoys golf, international travel and physical fitness,. He is an avid Philadelphia Phillies and Philadelphia Eagles fan!
John is a member of the Reading-Berks Association of Realtors as well as the Pennsylvania Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors. He is a member of the RE/MAX 100% Club, the RE/MAX Hall of Fame, and has received multiple regional certificates of excellence. He has closed over $100 million of real estate transactions and is CDPE certified. He is most proud of the fact that over 90% of his business comes from client referrals and repeat customers. His contributions have helped RE/MAX of Reading achieve the #1 national ranking for transactions for a single office in 13 of the last 15 years.
